Sharon Watts

Sharon G. Watts currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for Leidos where she is responsible for managing key central business functions and the optimization of indirect costs for the company. Prior to this role she served as the Deputy President of the Defense and Intelligence Group at Leidos. In this role Sharon assisted in leading more than 11,000 personnel providing mission critical technology, solutions, and support to the U.S. Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and allied nations around the world.

Previously, Sharon served as the Vice President of Engineering & Technology (E&T) for Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS), where she led 16,000 professionals to provide a focused strategic vision to the technical community on new business challenges, internal research and development (IRAD), and growth initiatives. The E&T organization aligned engineering professionals within IS&GS across five capability areas: Mission Systems, Mission Operations and Sustainment, Enterprise Information Systems, Cyber Security, and Data Analytics.

Sharon also served as the Vice President of the Lockheed Martin GeoVision line of business, where she led a multi-disciplined team of over 1,200 employees supporting complex mission requirements for the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. GeoVision designs, integrates, and delivers advanced systems for geospatial and imagery analysis, situational awareness, visualization, collaboration, and information technology services.

Sharon has also held multiple additional management and technology roles at IS&GS, including Vice President of Technical Operations, Enterprise Business Services. In this role, she was responsible for leading the internal information technology technical operations which included emerging technologies, architecture, systems engineering and integration, software/solutions development, operations and maintenance, and technology insertion. Sharon also served as the Technical Director, Network & Communications, where she managed all engineering and IRAD efforts, from development through implementation.

A proven leader with expertise in program management and technical engineering, Sharon holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in business administration.
