Be part of the change
Equality and justice for all must be a universal experience, and we must take action.
CEO Message
Our pain over the unconscionable and continued injustice and violence suffered by the African American community endures. Last week, we saw more tragedy as Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta was tragically and unnecessarily killed.
I want to make a clear statement to you today: Racism and brutality have no place in our society or at Leidos. Equality and justice for all must be a universal experience, and we must take action. We must find new ways to engage on these critical topics in order for us to move together in unity. As a CEO, I feel this responsibility strongly.
At Leidos, we are looking at ourselves and how we can do better as a company. In addition to internal change, we must also live up to our responsibility as a corporate citizen. We must do our part to support the broader African-American community.
To start, we're partnering with the Equal Justice Initiative, who fights against racial injustice and poverty, and promotes equal treatment in our criminal justice system for the most vulnerable. We have made a large donation in support of their important work, and I am moved by their focus on progress, education, and equal justice under law.
We have much work ahead and I am proud to be part of the change.
Roger A. Krone
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
