Leidos Australia joins the Global Supply Chain Program
(Canberra, Australia) Nov.13, 2018 - Leidos, a global technology, engineering, and science leader, is pleased to announce it has joined the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Program, providing increased opportunity for Australian companies to reach a global marketplace. The GSC Program utilises multi-national defence companies’ international supply chains to identify opportunities for Australian companies helping to grow the number and range of export opportunities.
“Joining the Global Supply Chain Program is an important step for Leidos to grow Australian defence industry capability. This will provide new commercial and defence opportunities in the Leidos global supply chain and support local SMEs to grow their business overseas,” said Christine Zeitz, Leidos Australia Chief Executive.
As a member of the Program, Leidos will establish a GSC office to identify, assess, qualify and assist Australian companies for export opportunities as well as provide regular updates on new capabilities required.
Leidos joins seven other prime contractors involved in the program.
The Global Supply Chain Program is managed by the Centre of Defence Industry Capability. Further information on the Global Supply Chain Program is available at business.gov.au.
