Our soldiers on the front lines expect to receive tried and true weaponry they can trust, and Dynetics, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leidos, helps ensure our men and women in uniform receive just that. Until a product is tested and proven trustworthy, it remains unavailable for customer use. This is true of products intended for medical use, recreational use, and certainly, in this case, for military use.
Dynetics provides a family of avionics products that includes semi-custom telemetry and flight termination products based on our Modular Instrumentation System (MIS) and off-the-shelf solutions for encryption, flight data recorders, time-space position information (TSPI), and ground support equipment. These solutions are typically integrated into missiles, unmanned air vehicles, rotorcraft, and potentially anything that flies to accomplish its mission. Once programmatic parameters are set, our solution is configured to characterize how the missile performs in its environment. When the program deliverable is tested, it is fielded with the solution inside that helps the user track, encrypt and decrypt, record data, or even terminate flight, if necessary.

In the air
For airborne testing, avionics solutions must be durable and accurate. We have ruggedized our solutions to withstand the harsh conditions that accompany flight-testing, like high-frequency vibration, exposure to unstable atmospheric conditions, rapid altitude and pressure changes, and extreme temperatures. The missile cannot perform its duties if the technology fails.
On the ground
Our team also supports the customer's mission on the ground. This includes the design and fabrication of custom telemetry instrumentation, product installation in a variety of high-performance airborne systems, and field test support. At any test range, we can support utilizing our Telemetry and Instrumentation Ground Receiver Station (TIGRS) or a portable receiving station to provide total system support from start to finish. This puts control in our customers' hands, so they are confident in their product's performance. Following the test of our customer's hardware, our experienced team can collect and analyze the post-test data, ensuring the test article performed as desired.
