Like you, I’m looking forward to this Memorial Day weekend and enjoying the unofficial start of summer with my family and friends. Whether you are working around your home or garden or relaxing at a neighborhood barbeque, we can all take time to reflect on why we celebrate this holiday and honor the brave men and women who gave the highest sacrifice. Without their courage and heroism, we would not be able to enjoy the many freedoms we have today. 

In the Washington, D.C. area, many of our colleagues will be volunteering to help feed our troops on The National Mall and carry a flag in the American Veteran Center’s National Memorial Day Parade – the largest event of its kind in the nation. To those representing Leidos, thank you. I’m proud that Leidos is an annual sponsor of this event and that we can honor our heroes and service members in this meaningful way.  

To those in our Leidos family who have helped secure and protect our freedom, thank you for your service. We are grateful for the experience and expertise you bring to Leidos and to our customers.
