Leidos offers a commercial line of video processing products that work individually or together to receive, process, and archive motion imagery (MI) data.

AIMES is the product of years of experience combining advanced analytic functions with an intuitive graphical user interface designed to support motion imagery (MI) processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED). As a suite, AIMES is capable of streamlining MI analysis by managing content across multiple, independent data stores and leveraging metadata richness and mission synchronization.

AIMES is the result of internal research and development efforts to improve upon Leidos's previous motion imagery solution, the Video Processing Capability (VPC) product line. As technology advances, the importance of MI management and analysis has continued to rise. Industries that can benefit from the AIMES product suite range from federal to state and local governments to a wide-variety of commercial markets.

  • Full Motion Video Ingestion and Management
The AIMES product suite is comprised of several components. The AIMES Server component is designed as a content management system to handle full motion video, exploited products, analyst chat/logs and related metadata. With AIMES Server, users can search for and publish content across multiple, independent data stores. Using OGC-compliant geospatial queries and web services, data can be accessed from AIMES Server by standards-based clients.
  • Enhanced Exploitation and Analysis
The next component, AIMES Exploit, is the primary exploitation client. Enabled by the AIMES Server database, AIMES Exploit leverages metadata richness and other data artifacts to bring mission synchronization and geospatial empowerment to data exploitation and analysis. AIMES Exploit was designed to streamline the workflow of motion imagery analysis with advanced search, geospatial visualization and search, and video playback with associated chat conversation functionality. Using dockable windows, the AIMES Exploit interface provides analysts with an enhanced visual environment for video exploitation and reporting.
  • Streamlined Generation of Intelligence Products
The AIMES Reporter component of the AIMES suite augments AIMES Exploit to enable rapid generation of intelligence products. Using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface, analysts can use AIMES Reporter to create, edit, and share motion imagery intelligence products in HTML, Microsoft® Word, and PowerPoint® formats. AIMES Reporter can generate product templates that can be used by analysts to quickly enter information and disseminate that information to decision makers. AIMES Reporter also supports the generation of video products with the ability to edit video clips and insert JPEG snapshots.
