Our Early Careers Graduates and Apprentices play an important and valued role bringing science, engineering and technology together to produce practical solutions to solve our customers’ most complex problems.

From the moment you join us, you’ll be contributing to meaningful projects, in teams where your ideas matter and your work makes a real difference.

Commitment to Inclusion:

We welcome applications from every part of the community and are committed to a truly inclusive culture.  We foster a sense of belonging, welcoming all perspectives and contributions, and providing equal access to opportunities and resources for everyone.  If you have a disability or need any other assistance during the application and selection stages, please let us know, and we will respond in a way that best fits your needs.

OUR GRADUATE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME – EARN WHILE YOU LEARN

You don’t need to have graduated to start making an impact. Our Graduate Apprenticeship Programme is designed for those who want to gain practical experience while studying and completing a degree. Whether you’re curious, creative or simply want to do meaningful work, this is your chance to be part of a team solving some of the most complex challenges in business and technology.

Why join?

Our Graduate Apprentices are supported with flexible working arrangements, real-world projects and a collaborative team environment where your ideas count.

This is a 4-year rotational programme where you will have the chance to explore different areas of the business and gain practical experience to support your studies.

What to expect:

  • Paid, full-time employment while you complete your studies.
  • Exposure to a wide range of technical and business areas.
  • Support from experienced mentors and a buddy.
  • A supportive culture, welcoming people from all backgrounds.

How it works:

  • Join on a full-time basis following a 4-year programme.
  • Attend an onboarding week to get you set up for success.
  • Study part-time to complete a Business or Technical Honours degree.
  • Complete four 1-year rotations tailored to your interests and business needs.
  • Mid-point and ongoing reviews with your manager and Early Careers team during each rotation, allowing for feedback and any challenges to be discussed.
  • Be paired with a buddy for additional support and to help navigate your early stages.
  • Gain professional and technical skills through training.
  • Mentoring opportunities, supporting your personal development.
  • At the end of the programme, you will ‘roll off’ into a business area best suited to your skills and ability.
  • At the end of the programme, you can choose to work in the area you started in and further develop your skills and knowledge, or explore other opportunities based on your aspirations and the needs of the business.

OUR GRADUATE PROGRAMME

Be immersed in real projects as an embedded and productive team member, right from the start.

As a Graduate, you’ll find yourself working alongside people who think ahead, always looking for the opportunity to go further, do more and explore a better way of doing things. If you love a challenge as much as we do, then this is the right place for you to launch your career.

This is a 2-year rotational programme where we offer both Business and Technical streams. You will have the opportunity to explore different areas of the business to gain both functional knowledge and project and programme experience, including interactions directly with customers.

How it works

  • Join on a permanent, full-time basis spending 2 years working across 3 different rotations (8 months each).
  • Attend an Early Careers Induction starting in September each year.
  • Share different perspectives with an assigned manager from a different area of the business.
  • Be paired with a buddy to help you navigate how things work.
  • Connect with fellow Graduates and Graduate Apprentices at monthly meetups.
  • Receive support, training and networking opportunities.
  • Gain professional and technical skills through training and ‘on-the-job’ experiences.
  • At the end of the programme, you can choose to work in the area you started in and further develop your skills and knowledge, or explore other opportunities based on your aspirations and business needs.
