Next Level Leidos
Advancing Sustainability Through 2030
As a company, we are mindful of our opportunities and responsibilities to our many stakeholders, especially as we grow. In an effort to advance sustainability at Leidos, we committed to new 2030 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals in November 2021.
These Next Level Leidos goals are not all-inclusive, and more efforts are underway in various areas, but we want to highlight key areas that encourage vital efforts related to Cultivating Inclusion, Advancing Environment Sustainability and Promoting Healthier Lives. We believe these efforts will not only sustain and enrich our culture at Leidos, but they will also have a positive impact on all of our stakeholders.
With our mission to make the world safer, healthier and more efficient, we believe that we can build a future where our people and technology make a real impact, greatly improving quality of life and promoting inclusive well-being for those around us. Our deep expertise in technology, science and engineering, and the systems approach in which we approach challenges has helped us set measurable goals to sustain our business, our communities and the world we all share.
Building Our Next Level Leidos Roadmap
Before announcing the 2030 Next Level Leidos ESG goals, we collaborated with internal teams to establish specific goals and metrics needed to advance our initiatives and promote transparency in our efforts. Each Next Level Leidos beacon topic is led by a cross-functional team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The Sustainability Working Group (SWG), and the internal ESG team, support the SME's in developing the roadmap and charter needed to achieve each goal. The chart below is an overview of our 2022 progress.
