Synchronize Your New Password with McAfee Endpoint Encryption on a Workstation

When changing your password with the Leidos Password Manager page, be aware that the McAfee Endpoint Encryption for PC (EEPC) must also be updated to allow Single Sign-On (SSO) to function properly.

Once you have followed all the steps to change your domain password using the QPM web page tool, follow the step-by-step instructions below to reset your EEPC password.

Resetting Single Sign-On

  1. Restart or reboot your Windows workstation.
  2. If "McAfee Endpoint Encryption for PC" is installed workstation, your machine should boot to the following screen.

  3. Enter your username and click the Next button.
    Only enter the username without the domain. Also, this is the same username you use to logon to the LEIDOS-CORP domain or Prism website.
  4. Check the "Change Password" box.

  5. Enter your previous password that was used before it was last changed, then click the Logon button.
    If the prior password is not known, please contact the Leidos Service Desk at +1 (855)953-4367 option 4. They will need to verify your domain account is in good standing and reset your EEPC Token & SSO before performing a Administrative Recovery to temporarily bypass encryption in order to get you into Windows.
  6. Enter new password (twice).
    This is the same username you use to logon to the LEIDOS-CORP domain or Prism website.

  7. Click OK.
  8. The system will start up and then stop at the "Leidos Proprietary System" disclaimer screen. Click OK to continue.
  9. If the username and the new password you entered for the McAfee Endpoint Encryption logon now matches your Windows or Domain credentials, you will automatically logged onto Windows.

    If Single Sign-On still fails, Windows will re-prompt you to enter your credentials again.

    This behavior is normal for any workstations which are not connected to the Leidos network (directly or VPN) or the workstation is not joined to the LEIDOS-CORP domain.
