However, increased connectivity also introduces new cybersecurity risks.

As operational and IT systems converge, airports must take a proactive, end-to-end approach to securing checkpoint environments - embedding cybersecurity into system design, ensuring visibility across networks, and strengthening collaboration between airports, technology providers and regulators.
