Harnessing trusted mission AI for enhanced enterprise operations

Seth Abrams, Leidos’ chief technology officer for homeland and force protection, recently sat down with Francis Rose, host of FedGovToday, to discuss AI’s transformative effects on enterprise operations. The discussion was part of the Industry Insight series that airs Sundays on ABC 7 (WJLA) in Washington, D.C.

Abrams highlighted the benefits of using AI in backend systems and increasingly in AI-assisted software development. He also emphasized the use of guardrails – such as the Framework for AI Resilience and Security, or FAIRS, a tool within Leidos’ trusted mission AI solution – to enable ethical experimentation with AI for person on-the-loop, person in-the-loop, and person-out-of-the-loop use cases. The focus is on building AI that acts as a trusted partner to humans.
