Leidos Australia selected to sustain air command and control capability for Australian Defence Force
MELBOURNE, Australia (22 August 2025) - Leidos Australia has been selected by the Department of Defence, Joint Systems Division to deliver its Air Component Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS) sustainment program.
The new contract, which provides on-site sustainment services to Joint C4 Systems Branch including operational support, engineering services and training, is worth $35.4m over the initial four-year term, with up to six additional extension years.
AC-C2CS is a suite of software applications that assists in the planning, preparation, execution, management and reporting of the Australian Defence Force’s aviation operations. It provides air operations command and control (AirC2), intelligence, targeting and situational awareness.
Leidos’ delivery of this contract will build on its extensive history of local mission software development and support across a number of Defence’s largest C4ISR systems, as well as cyber security across Defence’s deployed and strategic networks.
Leidos has collaborated with SPIRIT Group to support smooth transition and continuity of service to this mission-critical capability.
