Since 2021, Leidos has partnered with DoW to further transform the way cyber operations are conducted – accelerating modernization and driving innovation for the next frontier of cyber defense.
Landmark achievements in cyber incident visibility and system quality
Leidos has played a pivotal role in transforming the Department of War’s cyber operations, bringing advanced expertise in cybersecurity, cloud integration and automation. By modernizing infrastructure and capabilities, Leidos has helped the DoW achieve new levels of efficiency, resilience and operational excellence.
One of the most significant advancements was the deployment of a centralized, cloud-based security information and event management (SIEM) system. This next-generation platform delivers real-time visibility across billions of events, leveraging machine learning and heuristic detection to strengthen cyber defenses. Additionally, Leidos guided the Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) to become the first among over 100 federal providers to achieve both ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO 2230:2019 (Business Continuity) with a cyber-specific scope.
Leveraging its deep expertise and full-spectrum cyber solutions, Leidos spearheaded the accelerated expansion of cloud computing automation, predictive analytics, and large-scale enterprise data management.
