The Leidos SMIT Team will deliver seamless, secure, and scalable solutions designed to help our military leaders stay ahead of threats and achieve their missions through:
- Transport Services to include BAN/LAN/WLAN, WAN, Communities of Interest (COI), and Cross Domain Solutions (CDS)
- Network Operations to include Data Center Services, Service Continuity, Service Operations Information Security, Account & Directory Services, Authorization and Authentication Services, and Tools and Data Management
- IT Service Management to include Asset, Change, Configuration, Performance, and Service Catalog Management
- User Support Services to include Electronic Classroom, End User Core Build, Electronic Software Delivery, Service Desk, and Seat Support

Our transition team is currently working with the customer to assess its needs, and our goal is to transition as many incumbent employees as possible. (Please not not all positions are posted yet, however we are working on it).

Leidos offers telework to our employees when appropriate; however, the ability to telework is dependent on the particular job requirements, so this will be determined on a case by case basis based on contract requirements.

Most incumbent employees accepting a position directly with Leidos will receive credit for their years of service on the NGEN contract for purposes of determining their Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual rate.

We are not able to carry over PTO time from another company. You should receive a payout for the amount of PTO you have accrued from your current employer. You will begin accruing PTO when you join Leidos.

We utilize both laptops and workstations to provide access to Leidos systems for training, timecard completion and access to the company website.

Leidos has been proactive in providing employee education (personal preventative measures); rapid identification and isolation of positive and presumed positive employees in the workplace; domestic and international travel restrictions; enhanced visitor screening; enhanced supplies for sanitization in the workplace; targeted sanitization efforts after risk discovery; more frequent cleanings in common areas; specialized cleaning for closed areas; and solutions for specific high-touch, close-quarters operations where social distancing is not routinely feasible. Many of these measures proceed simultaneously based on the specific circumstances encountered.
In addition, the Leidos COVID-19 Working Group, in alignment with frontline organizations who have employees at customer sites and Leidos facilities, is constantly reviewing additional courses of action, with outcomes aimed at improving the above processes to further reduce the risk for our employees.
Additionally Leidos has worked with representatives from the military community to understand the impact of COVID on military service members and their families to ensure training materials are up to date, and service delivery reflects the new needs of the military community in the COVID world.

Yes, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to participate in a virtual New Employee Orientation (NEO) session covering topics including: who we are, what we do, where we are located, key systems, benefits, security, ethics, training, assimilation, career development, and available resources. We have two identical sessions each Monday, one at 8:45 a.m. ET and one at 2 p.m. ET. If a Leidos holiday falls on a Monday, the NEO session will be held on Tuesday.

There are certain job positions that may fall under a contract under the Service Contract Act (SCA), which are federal regulations which provides for U.S. Department of Labor prescribed minimum prevailing rate of pay as well as certain fringe benefit levels. Where applicable, Company provided benefits and other health and welfare benefits and payments are utilized to meet these obligations. Leidos has a specialized team for SCA Compliance to review and support these requirements. Specific details surrounding requirements under the SCA are reviewed with individuals during new employee orientation.

Most Leidos employees get ten paid holidays each year. These include three floating holidays to be used at your discretion and seven fixed holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Floating holidays are prorated based on when you start.
