Dr. Nic Ward

Sr. Principal Scientist

Dr. Nic Ward has a Ph.D. in Psychology and was a Professor of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering at Montana State University before joining Leidos in 2022. He has 30 years of international research experience in traffic safety, including the study of socio-cultural influences on road user behaviors and stakeholder actions. He is currently developing tools and models to help traffic safety organizations manage the process of changing to the Safe System Approach.
