Carly Kimball
Chief Performance Officer
Carly Kimball is the Chief Performance Officer at Leidos and is responsible for operational performance across the enterprise covering information technology and security, enterprise transformation and performance excellence, global supply chain, security operations, real estate.
Kimball is a seasoned executive bringing over 25 years experience in leading large teams and has extensive proficiency in accounting, auditing, SEC financial reporting, compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act, acquisitions and integrations, scaling business operations and interacting with Board members on a regular basis.
Previously, Kimball oversaw the global accounting function for Leidos, which included 450 team members across the U.S., UK, EMEA, Australia and Asia-Pac. Accomplishments included redefining success for a virtual shared service center, optimizing and streamlining processes and procedures, integrating three acquisitions, significantly reducing SOX control redundancies and deficiencies, revamping the global inventory program, and ensuring best-in-class financial reporting and SEC filings.
Prior to joining Leidos, she served as Chief Financial Officer with CACI Products Company where she oversaw five Operating Groups, integrated two acquisitions, and implemented a new inventory system, as well as a commercial instance of Costpoint.
In her role as Assurance Senior Manager with Ernst & Young, she served a variety of public and private companies, serving as a key point of contact responsible for leading issue resolution with accounting and finance groups, providing significant value to clients and Boards alike.
Kimball is a graduate of San Diego State and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has a passion for mentoring and lectures at both community colleges and universities to future finance and accounting majors related to the growth and of the profession through automation and analytics, which is blurring the lines between Accounting and Finance.
